Heading off to Chicago this morning. And the elves taking care of the homestead while I'm away find this absolutely hilarious. A week ago, it snowed in Chicago. On Saturday, it was 38 degrees and rainy, with the wind chill factor being 24 degrees. Yesterday, it was more of the same, and they cancelled the Chicago Cubs baseball game. I have tickets for the game on Wednesday, so here's hoping this warm up. It's supposed to be balmy -- around 45 degrees, so I'm bringing my shorts and sunscreen...and hope.
I'll try to check in later tonight, which will be two hours earlier here in Los Angeles, so we'll see.
I'd say "Stay warm," but I'm guessing that pretty much everyone else should be fine.
