It hasn't been a very good year for my beloved Chicago Cubs (a sentence I've written a few times before in previous seasons), but there's hope on the horizon with some impressive minor leaguers who'll be called up in the next year or two.
One bit of good news came yesterday, when pitcher Chris Rusin on the team's Triple-A affiliate, the Iowa Cubs, threw a no-hitter. Here's 53 seconds of a good Cubs season.
Actually, yesterday was a particularly good day for Cubs prospects and that hopefully-near future. In addition to the no-hitter, the team's #2 prospect, Kris Bryant, hit two home runs and drove in six runs. This could be the century!
