Yesterday, I wrote a piece about Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, and at the end mentioned that Mike Stoller was still working, and only last year wrote both the music and lyrics to a song honoring the city where the Democratic National Convention was held, Charlotte. A nice video of the number was made of it, performed by Steve Tyrell. Here it is.
