I thought it would nice to have a mid-week Piano Puzzler. The contestant here is Lauren Kassen of Greenville, South Carolina. And it's a pretty bizarre one. In fact, as the composer Bruce Adolphe said, "Yeah, it's a pretty hard one." Even host Fred Child was hugely stumped, even with lots of clues. All that makes it great fun to listen to, but -- it's hard. (And when he plays it through the second time, I did at least guess the hidden tune at that point. Even that was hard, but the tune did creep through for a brief moment.)
