In this week's Piano Puzzler, the guest is Ben Carroll of Virginia Beach, Virginia. I was able to follow the hidden song, but just couldn't get it...and the very, very end, just before it ran out, and I thought, "Aha!! It's..." and guessed right. The contestant can't get it, and when pianist Bruce Adolphe plays it again, it should be much more clear, though it's probably tougher for certain audience members. (What I'm most surprised with is that when Adolphe finally explains what the song is, he only gives a partial explanation, and isn't completely clear what it's so famous.) As for the composer style, I didn't get it -- though should have, since I like the composer a lot.
Robert J. Elisberg is a political commentator, screenwriter, novelist, tech writer and also some other things that I just tend to keep forgetting.
