I'm counting the reasons with it's now #1 in Elisbergland. For starters, it stars Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson. It also has an impressive supporting cast -- Paul Giamatti, Colin Farrell, Bradley Whitford, Jason Schartzman, Rachel Griffiths. And importantly, though the trailer says "the untold story," I know a lot of the story and it's fascinating. But even more, the parts of the story I don't know -- which are many -- look even more fascinating. And for all this, the movie could see miss the mark, but the trailer looks just...well, no, I won't use that word. That connotes whimsy. This just looks beautifully, lovingly, carefully, intelligently done.
Take a look. And be prepared to know you now have to patiently wait...
