Though this is the final episode I'll be posting of the Still Reunited series hosted and created by Josh Gad, it's actually the first one they did. And it appears to have been the first because it seems to be one of Gad's all-time favorite movies, I assume because it hit him just right when he was a kid. It's a reunion of The Goonies. I don't have much to say about this because I never saw the film, so the references throughout mean next to nothing to me. But the affection of everyone is enjoyable, which I can only assume is because most of the cast was so young when they made the film and likely bonded well. There's more recreating lines between cast members than in subsequent episodes, which is always an enjoyable touch -- even if I had absolutely no idea the context. The episode begins with Sean Astin, but then all the kids pop on at once. However, little by little though, a bunch of behind-the-scene participants come in, made all the better with some very special surprises. One thing to note is that one of the participants seems to be out of it, but later it becomes clear that he was having technical problems, and once they get fixed, he's an energetic storyteller.
