If you check out videos on YouTube with any regularity, you've likely seen ads for something called "MasterClass," an online program with celebrities who are expert in their fields giving teaching lectures or conversations. One of the more recent I've come across stood out for a particular reason -- one with Penn and Teller about teaching magic. What stood out is that Teller, who has not spoken a single word on stage in his long career with Penn...actually talks in the video. It's done in a clever way, setting it up so that you think he won't again, of course, talk. But he does. To be clear, Teller has spoken before on film. He's actually acted quite a bit. I first remember seeing him as a series regular in a 1987 TV series about minor league baseball called Long Gone, that starred William Peterson, Virginia Madsen, and Dermot Mulroney. But I've never seen him speak in a magic setting. In fairness, this isn't their magic act. This is a "master class" teaching. But that's what makes this unique and why it stood out. That aside, it also looks pretty interesting.

Thanks, yes, I had seen them list that as a movie on iMDB, as well. That may have been the pilot, but it was definitely a TV series. It was very enjoyable, but only lasted a few weeks.
