On the good "Kap and Company" show on WMVP Radio in Chicago, his call-in guest at 12:45 PM Chicago time (10:45 AM in Los Angeles) is scheduled to be Bill Murray.
It's all part of the Elisberg Industries "Game Seven preparation festivities." More to come. You can hear the interview stream here. UPDATE: Sorry about that. Unfortunately, they seemingly weren't able to track down Bill Murray for his announced WMVP interview on "Kap & Co." Such things happen. But host David Kaplan has just ignored it with no explanation, after spending the morning promoting the appearance. He's a very good broadcaster, one of the better ones, in fact, but that's not acceptable. All he said before the scheduled time was that they were trying to get in contact with Murray, and then not another word about it for the 50 minutes. So, I'm waving the white flag and tuning out until the Waddle & Silvy show comes on next. FOLLOW-UP: I heard back from David Kaplan who said that an explanation *was* given. I believe him, and apologize -- but I'm bewildered. I was sitting in front of the speaker listening, and waiting and didn't hear anything. And eventually left after 50 minutes. Maybe the explanation came much later -- and maybe I just had a brain freeze and totally missed it. That would be bizarre, though David Kaplan is such a good broadcast that I couldn't imagine him not explaining things, which is why I was so surprised. So...I don't know when it occurred, though I'm glad to know it did. And sorry it didn't take place, whatever the reason Murray couldn't make it.
