But then, I suspect we all knew it could. And would.
I'm just surprised that Trump didn't blame Ted Cruz's father for killing Jeffrey Epstein. He has such a strong track record already established with accusations. Or at least I thought he'd blame that 400-pound guy who left his parents' basement to do the killing. But then, I love how Kellyanne Conway called Jeffrey Epstein a "monster," but conveniently left out that her boss called Epstein "a terrific guy." They really should compare notes to get their story straight. And I love too how she dismisses video of Trump because he and Epstein were merely partying alone with a roomful of young women, but finds it damning to slam unnamed people who were sitting on an airplane. Well...okay, in fairness, it isn't completely anonymous. Court documents were unsealed on Friday, and showed that among these we now have at least some records for, one of those aboard Jeffrey Epstein's private jet was -- Trump! So, thanks much to Kellyanne Conway for saying that this is even worse than the partying video. To clear, it's not worse, but she wants us to believe it is. (No, we don't know what the anonymous people -- well, partly anonymous -- did after getting off the plane. Just like we don't know what Trump and Epstein did after partying with a roomful of young women. Another thing we don't know is who the anonymous people were -- well, some of the people -- on the plane. Just like we don't know who...oh, wait, sorry, yes, we do know who was partying alone in the roomful of young women -- Trump and the person of whom he said, "I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” To be clear, I don't think Trump had Jeffrey Epstein killed. What I do think is that Trump and Jeffrey Epstein "partied" extensively with young women. And while I have no idea how young they were or if they were women or girls, or if it was consensual, I think what we do know of Trump's history saying with his own words that he's okay with sexually abusing women and has 17 women accuse him of sexual abuse, and Kellyanne Conway is digging a deep hole for herself to get out of by bringing up the video which is not only video evidence of a friendship but a reminder of Trump's own words on a multitude of subjects. And a reminder that Trump himself was on the prvate jet. As the expression goes, a picture is worth a thousand anonymous accusations. Well, partly anonymous. And Trump is digging a deep hole for himself by pointing conspiratorial fingers at others given his very long history of projecting his own actions on anyone else in sight.
