The other day, I posted a fairly outlandish production number of Anthony Newley singing the title song for his musical, written with Leslie Bricusse, The Good Old Bad Old Days.
Well, going from the ridiculous to the sublime, here singing the same song is George Burns.
This still isn't quite the way the song is done in the show, sung as it is by the Devil, but hey, this is "God," so you get a far sweeter interpretation (and shorter). Still, it's a joy.
