“Did he help the boys get out? I don’t know. If I was going to thank somebody, I’d probably thank President Xi. He’s the president in China. Somebody can make a suggestion and somebody can do something."
-- LaVar Ball, showing why Trump finally took on his equal in professional bluster and full-blown swagger. To which Ball added, “Let him do his political affairs and let me handle my son, and let’s just stay in our lane." To those who follow sports, they know that LaVar Ball loves drawing attention to himself, often highly-inappropriately. "Often," not "always" being the operative word. If Trump thinks he's going to get LaVar Ball to back away, he's seriously wrong. Which means either Trump will keep going on with this pathetic sniping at a father, or Ball will get the last word. And word. And word... All of which brings up the following related quote from Neil Cavuto of "Fox News." He has been critical of Trump in the past, but not only is this may be as blunt as he's been, but...still, this is on "Fox News." “Forget about either comment not being presidential. At what point does the president see such remarks don’t even border on being human?”
