You may have read about Jim Carrey's pointed, eloquent acceptance speech when he received the Charlie Chaplin Award for Excellence in Comedy that the Los Angeles chapter of BAFTA gave the other day, on October 27. Here is the whole thing, so that you can see it.
BAFTA is the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. The fellow presenting it here is Peter Farelly of the Farelly Brothers who made such films as Dumb and Dumber.
