Today is the third scheduled "bug spraying" here at Elisberg Industries, so annoyingly I have to be out for four hours. The issue at hand though isn't that the next postings won't start up again until the afternoon most likely -- but being away from the Olympics for that long. I already feel the withdrawal symptoms starting. Maybe I'll have to track down a sports bar. Or a Big Buy and pretend that I'm undecided about what TV to purchase -- for hours.
This is the last scheduled spraying, so let's hope it does its job. Things have been moving in the right direction, down to very few bugs a day...though yesterday they shot up. I'm hoping it was because it was the last throes of trying to escape. Happily today it's back down -- zero in fact, thus far. The pest control guy said things were normal, and that after this they should be gone. "Should" being the operative term. I certainly hope so. For two reasons. One, the obvious. But the other -- if I'm going to have to leave here for four hours during Olympics coverage, it darn well better be for a good cause...
