I got a sardonic email from my friend Adam Belanoff, a writer on the series Major Crimes. He sent me a screen shot that he came across for a TV listing of this past Monday's episode.
He wrote, "Well, I think this pretty much sums it up."
I wrote back to Adam --
Just so you know, this is why I watch the show regularly, for the impeccable, intricate plotting.
One week a man, another week a woman, and some weeks it could be a family or even just seemingly-unrelated strangers. You simply never know.
I wonder if this is one of your episodes. It sounds so much like it.
As Adam rightly remarked, in fairness the synopsis could have blown it for viewers and told you which man was murdered. Talk about what a spoiler that would have been...
