Here she is much younger -- but not just her alone. What's fun is that it's the first three Annie's, all performing a medley at a tribute concert for the show at the Kennedy Center in 1982 (the video has the date wrong). What's notable is that in addition to Andrea McArdle is the first young girl who sings -- Sarah Jessica Parker, who was the third Annie on Broadway. Next is Shelley Bruce, and then McArdle, who's around 19 at the time, and is the one who gets to sing...oh, you know. And she blows it out of the water.
Noteworthy too is that the fellow at the piano is Charles Strouse, who wrote the music to the show. (As well as, years earlier, Bye Bye Birdie.)
